Staying warm and cozy through the fall and winter is a high priority when living in the colder climates. It can be difficult when showing a home during this period because comfortable at times may equal cluttered. We at reside360 enlisted the help of two local Chicago interior designers to show how to stage your home as warm and cozy without getting too frumpy.
When we think of fall and winter, we naturally think of the changing leaves and the snow, the comforting warmth of a low burning fire and the coziness of being curled up on a welcoming sofa, bundled up in blankets. Transforming homes into a more festive setting can be easy with a few Cinnamon and Nutmeg inspired pieces of artwork accompanied with seasonal flowers that bring all the colors of the changing leaves indoors or balancing the feeling of the crisp cold with warm colors and textures. Of course, you can never go wrong with adding a few overstuffed pillows and a luscious blanket for those long cold nights
